Title: $200 KSI Thumper kit

had a little down time on the weekend so whipped up a quick KSI replica, who says bikes need to cost 15 grand

hers one that someone made earlier, looks like fitting a carb will be harder than finding a cure for cancer.

Hmmmmmm, an interesting concept. A little more work is required on the rear sub frame methinks.

Oh the rear sub frame is fully adjustable....baling wire, the fabricators friend.  Also just tacking things until you are sure everything will fit is important.

What happened is I needed mock up motor to dry build up my C&J frame around while my XR570 motor is in the hospital so scored completed XL250s for $300. Old YZ swing arm and bobs your uncle.

the genuine item sold for 9 grand not so long ago..... there were actually 2 frames produced for the 4 valve motor...I am going to claim I just found one..... of course the other 4 valve advantage is quick conversion to 500 motor.

Please keep reports going Marc, interesting project! and using the farmers number two * fix all made me laugh , * Number one is nylon hay bale band have worked on Ford Falcon utes with that holding the ball joints in place on the front end for xxx years........... >:( :o

yeah we can buy this really nice soft binding wire that is made for errecting scaffolding.... strong but soft with a million uses.

Yeah will keep the photos coming, have pretty much all the parts I need.
