I've got a 150mm full width Suzuki front hub. I think it is a DR500 hub. Can anyone tell if it the same hub as the RM400, or point towards a webs Suzuki parts books.

could be PE 250/400, RM250/400 or DR400.
has it got cut outs for a speedo drive on the brake side?
ok i did some checking and they are all the same. The hub for the RM/PE's eventually superceeds to the DR hub. i looked up DR/SP 500 from 83 and the same hub is listed to fit the PE's and RM's
have a look around here. The SP500's in USA are the equivalent bike to the DR500 you posted. the USA DR500's were not like ours and were more like a RM/PE.
so to answer you question YES, but there could be possible differences. like the RM hub may not have cut outs for the speedo drive.

DR 500 came with 2 different front hub sizes one had 130mm shoes the other the same size as Pe / Rm 150mm

is the 130mm hub full width eg a PE 175 T/X item or half width/conical like a full foater RM/PE hub?
i have a 130mm conical type suzuki hub i havent ID'd yet. it might be a DR one.

full width ... yours might be off Rm 125 b also

ok so that would be same as PE 175 then?

I am pretty sure the RM250/400 T went to a larger diameter front hub in 1980. The 250/400 N (RM) was smaller than the T. One of the few non-cosmetic changes.

i did some looking
RM250/400 T - 130 X 22 shoes
RM250/400 N - 150 X 28 shoes
thats from the SBS book
did they go smaller in 80?
