Title: Brad Lackey's Northerna California Classic 2009

I just got back from Brad Lackey's Nor Cal Classic and I'm going back for day two in the morning.  300 plus entries both days and the "Vintage-Am" race.

The "Vintage-Am" was great!  Graham Noyce, Herbert Schmitz, Zdenek Velky and Lars Larson VS. Danny LaPorte, Chuck Sun, Gary Jones and Bill Silverthorn.  Bob Hannah, Danny "Magoo" Chandler and Marty Tripes were alos there to watch and sign autographs.  On paper it looked like the Americans had a youth advantage, but Herbert Schmitz jumped out to a 3 or 4 bike length, holeshot lead and looked like he would run away with the win, but Chuck Sun caught him on lap 5 of the 8 laps.  Sun was the winner with Schmitz and LaPorte filling up the podium.

I'll post photos of the racers, former champs and unique bikes tomorrow night.

Sounds brilliant, would love to have been there. Looking forward to the pics!
