Title: FREE Montesa

Hi - I just had a guy ring me and he wants to give away his bike, as it's just taking up space.  Otherwise it goes to the tip.  The bike is in pieces but is 95% complete according to the owner.  The bike is located on the Mornington Peninsula and it is a 1976 Montesa 250 H6.  Please ring the owner, Tony Tulk, on 0406 320380.

Repeat.......it's FREE.

Nice pick up. The tank is the Rapida, trail bike.

Looks to be all there even if thoroughly pulled down :P.

And in good condition. Mikuni, new or near new piston, Amal levers, nice tank, even the engine covers look good. New seals in the bag. That's a $1000-1500 Ebay bike. Nice pick up. You have out-Firko'd Firko ;) :D.

So, Ken posts at 11.20am and it's signed, sealed and delivered by 3.00pm ;D. You don't let the grass grow under your feet Paul 8).

yep you need to move fast to catch a deal these days, my $500 MX250 involved burning a little rubber and being a fast draw with the wallet. ;D

Price is right and there is a nice VMXer in there some place.

dont get to exited montesa hq has just been on the phone im chargeing up the box brownie and going to take some pic af every thing looks like itss going to ballarat

Have ya got it assemble yet Paul ;D

Should end up looking like one of these, not sure which. The headlight I can see looks like the one on the left. But the black ribs on the forks and the polished hubs and fork legs look like the second.

I think the tank is wrong it more like the Rapita which is about the same capacity but a little 'fatter'.
