Title: Repairing aluminium portions of a barrell.
Post by: Stewy138 on March 24, 2009, 10:34:53 pm
I recently bought a TM125 barrel from the States (ebay) and was happy when it arrived.  Nicely ported (so it seemed) and complete with Wiseco piston, all for a great price.

Then it noticed that the inside walls of the transfer ports have broken through (went too far with the porting) and there is a hole in the aluminium on both transfers just where the port turns in toward the cylinder.

So I am wondering if anyone knows of a way to repair this ?  Somehow the aluminium needs to be filled.

Thanks.
