thanks mate now all i need is a tank
-
i've got a standard tank from an rt2 in reasonable nick, comes with cap and tap painted a yucky blue colour, it's in brisbane and its yours for the cost of postage if you're interested.

im very intrested im building up a dt1 motorcrosser bit of a mock up thing keeping it pre 75 though tank sounds good could ypu send us some photos if possible and is there much rust on the inside
-
im still a bit illiterate on the photo upload on this site, but if you send me a pm with your email, i can take a few snaps tomorrow to forward on for you. the tank came on a bike i bought and by the time i got it, all the feul had evaporated. there will be some rust but i'm pretty confident a clean and a feul filter will stop any problems.

I just had alook at the E-gay site that Cyclegod put up and I think I have one of those pipes in the shed?
I'll check it out and get back to you.

thank mate ;D

I've got a Bassani that's from a MT250 or old Bultaco or something... It 'nearly' fits onto an RT1, but will require some hacksaw and welder love... I bought it for my RT1, but then discovered it doesn't fit, and was for a 250 anyhow.
Want me to bring it down?

for sure ;D

hey caps,
email with pics sent.
let me know what you think.
as for a pipe.
on my rt, i used the standard pipe, opened it up and removed all the baffles, gauze etc then welded on a silencer and she looks the goods.
another note for the rt enthusiasts, mine needs a rod kit, aftermarket price is $185 but will still need to be fitted. i guess thats the price for a fresh bottem end hey.
