I don't know of any model TS125 released here pre'71 but that's not to say they didn't exist in Japan. Never seen any pictures or information to substanciate this but it is very possible. Have heard of '69 TS90's and these infact look the same as the '70 model and very similar to a scaled down '69/'70 TS250 but TS125's (the red and white stripe jobs) are definately the '71 R model ;)

Mick, the '69 T125 Stinger's were basically twin cylinder roadies, TC120 Cat's were not really full size, overweight and underpower they would not be a good choice for vmx. The TS250 Savages were much the same but with some work the 250's can make the grade and not be an entirely bad thing. That's about all that was available from Suzuki in '69 that's of much use as a solo pre'70 vmx'er. Worth considering is the fact the cutoff is 1972 if you wish to go Post Classic Dirt Track. This means the TS125/TS250's and the first model TM400 from 1971 are all perfectly legal. The modded trailbikes unless 'heavily' modded won't hold a candle to the gun riders on stock MX'ers of the day but they won't be disgraced by any means either ;)
