Yeah I'll be there. Anyone else doing Pre-78 this year? I'm entering a VB 360 for it. Maybe Pa Maico can drag out an old banger for this class. We need to support it a bit more I think.
So my plan for this year is:
Evo 40-44
Pre-78
Evo over 300cc
and Pre 85 Big Bore 40+
-
Got a GP360 Husky still in a million bits, but it's the pre '78 bike.
Cheers,
K

Wouldn't miss it for the world

ill be there the 480 is ready to go so ill definitly be there hopefully my express entry landed today renewed my race license today so all signs are good
-
Unfortunately I'm not going to be racing this one - way too many things going on to even go near a bike right now. Hopefully I'll get to a couple of rounds in the second half of the year.
I just want to say all credit to Simon, Steve and all others involved. I received the mailout this morning and it was a well put together promotional piece. To read the same thing a bit later on Fullnoise.com.au was also impressive. Maybe all that trash talk about the last round generated a bit of interest too... ;D
In all seriousness, I hope the series attracts some good numbers and gets on the up & up. We all need races to ride at, so good on them for getting it together.
-
Hi all, sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Open all powers is full, no more entries, I dont want to turn this event into a 2 day open ! !

Well it was a big day of racing ,with some very fast guys coming out for Round one. Track was hard and fast ,well done to the viper crew,Blue rock and everyone who run the day . I ended up struggling to stay on my bike but survived without a crash and the free viper beer at the end of the day was a fantastic innovation . Well done to billet YZ and rossco nimmo both were standouts on the day .

Thanks for a sensational fun day, and great to meet some good people who like old dirt bikes, no I mean LOVE old dirt bikes. I'll be back for more. Why did I skip motocross for so many years? Dunno... Hell I might even keep up with the 2nd last place rider next time... cheers Jady
P.S. I see there's a stack of photos on http://www.wilfuldamage.com.au/Images/Bluerock09/gallery/index.htm (http://www.wilfuldamage.com.au/Images/Bluerock09/gallery/index.htm)

seen a couple a pre 85 model bikes there with upside down forks on them
namely the RM500 and YZ250 ...would they be allowed to race the nationals with those items...
i no lackey had them on his bike and ktm ran them as stock standard items before 1985 .
i dont no am i missing something... ???
-
You could use '84 KTM495 upside down forks and be legal, but those 2 bikes would not be legal. I'm told the set on the RM500 are 1990 model forks, not sure what the YZ ones are.
Cheers,
K
