hey can an one tell me if the plastic linkage guard is avibl for a 84 kx 500 the kx 60 ones look close???

hi did u ever fid out about the linkage guard,i have a 84 kx500 and my guard had perished thru old age,its nearly all i need to make bike near perfect cheers

Bike bandit still list them as being available

Don't believe it!!
MX South told me they had a new fuel tank in stock, took my money (a lot!) and only after I enquired did they tell me it was no longer available. It then took them over a week to give my money back.
Both they and Bike Bandit work the same way. They take your order, which you have to pay for up front, only then do they look to see if the part is available.
Check with your local dealer first if the part is available before ordering through these guys.
btw I can tell you that this part is not available from Kawasaki any more.  ;)

Ditto to what Tony said, i had a similar experience with Bike bandit, but i also did have a win though them a few years a back as well when i got 2 NOS Pro Circuit pipes for a 85' model & an 86' model. don't pay up front until you get hard confirmation the part exists.

 :-\got sick of waiting and made an alloy one i figure if weight is an isue i could cut back on beers yer bull shirt !!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D

Hi, I have a used 86 strut flap that is a little different but may still fit.  Do you know the distance between the two mounting holes?

I've got one, but it's got a KX500 attached to it! Could take photo's and measurements if it will help.

they run the same dog bone
