A good friend of mine used to be a Bridgestone dealer.  He race kitted a 90 Bridgestone, went like stink, and weighed nothing.  He then fitted a 100cc barrel, and it went faster.  The only setback was if it was used for motocross, the swingarm couldn't handle it, and bent at the shock mounts.  I checked out his place a few months ago, he still has the 100, plus another 90 Bridgestone stuck under the house.
I had the rare priviledge of racing a 350 Bridgestone at the Qld beach(sand) racing titles in Mackay many years ago.  It was a beautiful machine, it won the 500 class easily.

Thats all we had on the sheep farm near Echuca 3 Bridgestone 90's and a 100. My three brothers raced our own Bridgstone cup around the paddocks as kids, I don't now what model they were they were all blue, I will always remember the rotary gear box from top back to first in one change great for engine breaking, and those shiny tanks. Gave them away about 10 years ago when forced of the farm sad really If only I new.

I would love a 350, so good the Big 4 made Bridgestone stop making them.

sounds like a conspiricy plot ,but its true! i remember the fuss about it.the big four said 'if you dont get out of the motor cycle industry we won't by bridgestone tyres'! so they pulled out. the 350 was certainly a rocket ship i saw it blitz the 500 class at catalina park (katoomba.) i wonder where the blokes responsible for the design and development of the 350 went? cheers wally.

Conspiracy Wally ??? well now the Japanese motorcycle industry dominates with no pesky little manufacturers and Bridgestone went on to become a multinational corporation, at the pointy end of most forms of motorsport it chooses to compete in. So no truth in that rumour whatsoever. ;D ;D ;D
