Hi Wombat and Rossco,
The club name change was made because we took over a modern club the Launceston Motorcycle Club and a part of the deal was we keep a part of there name We have now got a unbelievable motox complex which is pretty good for vintage bikes also.
Rossco I was only thinking about the nationals last night I am very keen as is quite a few people down here I am going to see if the finances will streatch If I do I will be bring you a present to welcome you into the Fatboy Rascing stable.
Cheers

Have a few pics of last week. Unfortunately most aren't worth showing, and the Pre-75 events I was in, which made it hard to take snaps. Hopefully someone else has some other shots?
A couple of nice bikes

If you want to beat this 428, you just wait till it runs out of fuel 50m from the checkered lag. ;D

MX - well done - wish I had thought to turn FBR's fuel off at last years Nats - bugger - hindsight and deviousness go well afterwards!

ah,the eagle eyes of a honda owner has picked out the secret of easy starting and set and forget ignition.
this mod was on a bike I purchased from victoria and we replicated it for fatboyracing.
all you need is the CDI box, coil, advance unit and trigger plate from a 1986 vintage postie bike.the source coil from the XL350 needs to be rewound to suit (steve from bettabikes in S.A )
the original outer cover from the XL needs to be spaced out 10-13mm to clear.
The starting improvement has to be experienced to believe it.
If you need more info and pics give me a pm.
Wheres the pics of your steed MX? and how did you like your first outing ?

I had a ball! Only wish I'd given it a whirl years ago. :D
I did have someone try and get a pic of the bike.....................
but it was just too quick. ;D
