I just found this amongst other old photos.
I think it was just after he won his first GP and came back for a club day at Mac Park Mt. Gambier.
Yamaha would have loved that!  ;D

No doubt so would everyone else who Kevin hosed off on(what looks like) a pretty much standard bike :o

I don't know if that shot was ever made public. Kevin was always pretty careful with his sponsors so wouldn't have wanted to be seen on a Honda at that stage.
When they were filming an TV ad for Yamaha once, they had to come and get a Shoei helmet from me for him to wear cos the local dealer didn't stock one.  ::) He couldn't be seen in another brand of lid and I was the only one with a new one.

That's a neat photo though.  Mainly cause that's the sort of bike we were hooning round on back then, and pretending we were magee and gall, gardner and leisk.
