Title: kx250c1 seat question

My seat looks to be around 1-2in to short when i line up the rear mounts on the frame it has approx 1-2in gap from the tank
So bought another seat (as i wanted an original look) its the same but the seat that came with the bike has been retrimed and fits the gap great if i line it up to the tank its got a gap on the rear gaurd
the tank is in the correct spot as the front mount bolts line up on the tank
any suggestions

The KDX seat is about 2'' shorter. Rear mount hole to bottom corner of base is about 13'' KX and 11'' KDX so you probably got a KDX seat
