Title: The good oil ?

I have a Cooper ( Ive herd all the jokes). it has a typical euro gear box . I currently use Belray lite gear oil. I have a brand new NOS gearbox and is set up perfect.I have frigged around with the gear leaver position and believe I have that right. It is still hit or miss when  changeing gears , especially 2-3 on the up . What gear oils do you guys run in this older euro technolagy . Any ideas would help.
