Anybody know of a product that can be used on a cracked rubber inlet manifold?
It has been sitting for about 10yrs without use and is dried out and cracked, I have ordered a new one, but may need to have an temporary fix for QVMX opening round in 2 weeks.
Something flexible and fuel resistant or something more resistant than resistant.....if you know what I mean.
'86 Husky 250 xc in case your wondering.

Try Good old supa glue I have one that has lasted for years like it, or get the glue that they use for making O rings with , it is just like supa glue

good old silicone should do it common tempory fix on rubber car and bike parts as well as plumbing needs :)

sicaflex will do a temporary for you ;D

Local windscreen guy can fix it permanently with the glue system they use to glue windscreens into car bodies - NOT window rubeer repair glue though!
It's brilliant, I've had a few old cracked rubber parts repaired. Stays flexible and stick like the proverbial!

thats the stuff ;)

The stuff i would recommend for this is a polyurethane adheasive/sealant called Sikaflex. Its flexible, strong, fuel resistant etc. Its expensive but works well. You can also buy it in cheaper brands such as Motoline.

Ahhhh! Sixaflex why didn't i think of it (don't answer that)
I have a ton of the stuff, we use it to seal off expansion joints.
Thanks everyone :) :)
Will let you know how I get on.
