Spring rate 3.1kg/mm(standard) and the nitrogen pressure is adjustable. An idea could be to use a high pressure bicycle air pump with appropriate valve nozzle to test with different rates of pressure to find what you are after John.
I know this isnt answering your question but it could help with fine tuning before using nitrogen.  Or has the nitrogen leaked out and thats why you need to know the standard pressure?

Thanks DJ I have access to the nitro bottle I just need a standard starting place , my workshop manual does not say and modern thinking is 150 odd lbs,but this aint modern and I dont want to put too much in and I dont have allot of practise time available to go and test it so wanted to start standard and work from there. I have found out (dumb should have read book first ) that the adjuster does compression dampening and also effects rebound , not just rebound like I first thought .Cheers

Original pressure was around 215psi (if my memory serves me). Good luck finding a modren regulator that goes that high (they exist, but not many people have them).
