It was was a great bike. I used to ride one up to 25 years ago. Handled the woods beautiful, but the brakes were like Frank said in the article, gone when wet...

I have a '79 Auto 390ACC that I will be looking to sell in a little while, Darcy . It is all pulled apart at the moment & down the order a bit on my project list. ACC stands for automatic cross country, which means it has longer travel than the WRs & this same model bike was featured on the front cover of VMX magazine #17.

No hurry. I've only wanted one since I was blown away by one in Longreach back in 78/79 Let me know when your finished, would be good. The misses just said something about a difference between have to have and need ::) I don't understand ??? Darcy
