Title: 1980 250GS - Fork Set Up ?

Gents,

Looking for an oil grade and amount set up for my 250 to run it a club days in VMX. It still has the thin Marzocchi forks that look standard.

Any help would be appreciated.

15 w Fork Oil 

Oil level 120mm from the top spring out tube all the way down .

mite need to add 25mm of washer on top of spring

Should be good for a 90kg rider

Update 11/3/09 - 15 weight oil without spacers resulted in a good feel but at least 50mm static sag. Inserted 25mm nylon spacers under the top caps - result was 20mm of sag and still a good feel.
