Title: Qa50's
Post by: 090 on February 16, 2009, 06:55:53 am
Anybody know about these little gems?
Wanting to know if there was a later model that had a z50 type motor or were they all pushrod motors. I have one with a CF50 motor in it. Anyone know what a CF is?
Also, did a model come out with steel guards as per the red tank one in the photo?

QA's all used the same push rod motor, the yellow tank bike could be a QA50 K0, the red tank bike maybe is a K1, all have a 2 speed box, K0's had issues with second gear, there was a factory upgrade and all use plastic guards not steel, motor in the red tank bike is wrong should have same motor as the yellow tank bike.

Thanks for clearing that up guys. Must be early z guards then.

Bloody good little bikes . My father bought one for my brothers and me like 30 years ago and it was 2nd hand then. My brother has still got it for his kids to use.
