Title: Husky Travel Guides?
Post by: cultofthumpers on February 15, 2009, 03:50:51 am
Can anyone tell me what year(s) Husky forks had 9 inches or 229MM of travel?

Thanks,
Sam

I know that the first of Husky's leading axle forks , which came out on the '77 CR250 & CR390 , had 9.5 inches ( about 240mm ) of travel . For these to be legal for racing ( by M.A rules ) in pre '78 class , you are supposed to restrict the travel by half an inch to bring them back to the 9 inch limit . The '77 WR360 had inline axle forks with 8 inches of travel & I think that the '76 CR250 & CR360 would have been about the same .
