Title: NZ world beater
Post by: Marc.com on February 08, 2009, 12:20:55 am: I can't believe that VMX hasn't had this Kiwi world beater on the cover of an issue, twin disc brakes, leading link and sand tires long before anyone had heard of Glamus ...its the bomb. Nothing like trying to stop a good Mountain Goat on a wet morning.

IMMSMC around an early to mid 70's NZ built farm bike ??? ???. Any kiwi's got a picture to post for interest? I remember them being around when we got our first bike - Suzuki TC125 farmbike - 4 speed with hi/lo ratio lever on gearbox.

I found that posting on a 74 TC125 Prospector hi/low gears.Thanks Quicksilver ;) ;D

Post by: asasin on February 12, 2009, 03:40:07 pm: I lernt to ride on one of these , they will climb a wall, I still have one .recently went to a trail ride , lots of sneeres but bike is good to follow my young daughters on, came to a big up hill with bikes stuck all over it . just went to a foot track at side and rode past everyone, ;D lots of roost when the 450 brigade got free and came past >:(
These bikes wont let you down they are bullitproof, only one hassle is no foot brake ,both brakes are on the handlebars along with the clutch :-\ The one I have ( picture attached) is circa 1970 with kawasaki 90 engine. they later went to suzuki engines and I think were brought out and shut down by Suzuki who brought out the mudbug very shortly after. They were made in Waitara in the Taranaki in NZ
