Hi LMS.  I know you are working on same.  I don't have a lot of spares unfortunately.  It's killing me to sell this steed.  Economic crisis,  new baby etc,  mortgages.  I want to package it all up.

What you should do,  is buy the bike,  and furnish your project with all you need,  then part out what you don't need.
With the bike,  comes the barrel and piston  (has one size left)  and a full set of gaskets.   also,  comes a rear brake plate and inners,  which I got ripped off with  (has a chip outa the outside plate,  but will still work fine)

I have an airbox that comes with the bike.  The only thing extra that I have here is 2 x coils,  and they have short wicks.

Rustle up your money and get this bike cheap,  because there ain't too many in AUS,  I guess you have figured that out by now.

i,m afraid when i,m looking for a particular machine i can,t find one , especially so in this case , a complete wr500 for the barrell , an 87 top end to put back on the wr and to supply the intake , a K bottom end , a partial 85 250 , a partial 86 250 , a frame from a forum member thanks husky < ,  new pipe comes this week , along with plastic ,  still to set up the carb , not having seen the 40mm i,m hoping yamaha used a cut down vm40 , $160 for a nozzle and needle , if it doesn,t work , then i go to the keihin pwk41 , will have to rat a rear brake arm of one of the other 490,s , plus all the other little bits ,fat bars ,controls,ect then as always i see one for sale (yours ) , i would have gladly bought it , but am so committed  to this one , if i could sell my k 490   (brad,s bike ) i ,d be in a position  to do something  , i,ll be dropping the price to sell it , pm me a number on the L
