Title: Kawasaki Model designations;- Please Explain?

ok who can enlighten me on the model designations verus year?

EG A5=1979 then it goes B in the 80's and C somewhere else?

i can't work it out?

ive read this somewhere else, it might of been in the fast facts book and it says there is no logical system to the way kawasaki designated there model codes and that is was so 'random'
