Hi Paul,
What is a Title?
What does it mean?
-
as far as i know if the bike has a title then you can ship it in one piece
and if it doesnt then you have to ship it as parts semi apart on a pallet or boxes .some thing like that
-
Title is like a rec rego slash bill of sale , its just a registered proof of ownership, not essential but handy thing to have for custom ex US
-
A title is needed for a complete bike for export, generally these are issued by the dealer when bike is new (30 yrs ago) and passed from owner to owner, thats why it's rare to have an old mxer titled.
The bill of sale is a receipt from the current owner
An old bike can be titled for export, but not in all states of the u.s.
Generally the seller will strip the bike down into bits and send as parts, as a title is not required to export "parts"

Thanks guys.
I see this title thing all the time but never knew what it meant.
The bikes that are being exported from the states can get a title but it is complicated, expensive and time consuming so I hear.
