Title: yamaha parts again
Post by: frostype400 on January 13, 2009, 09:47:51 pm: since i had a succes providing pics in my last add i will do it again does any one have or know where i can get these i need a seat the same as this metal base same mount as mx or gt80 and also need one foot peg pin that hold the peg in place it is on a few bikes it is like a bolt but no thread or nut involved just a split pin through one end also need horn and indicators and mudflap on front guard and new footpeg covers for both front pegs and buddy pegs and one for front gear stick i know they are on ebay but if some one has the covers locally that would be better i need a real gt80 nut to tell me what is the go with where indicators are mounted on the aus models and wether we had yamaha mini or enduro 80 on our oil tanks thanks Michael.

Post by: LWC82PE on January 13, 2009, 10:26:03 pm: what diameter pin is it? heres a tip, go try your PE foot peg pin, it may work, or just get a long enough bolt with enough shank, cut off thread and turn down hex to a flat/dome shape and drill hole for split pin, and get in zinc plated. easy. but it will be even easier to ring a yamaha dealer for that part. im sure a dealer in AU has foot peg pins, they probably fit many bikes across the range.

if i had a yamaha zedder programe i would be able to tell you what bikes have that same pin but i dont. im sure someone on the forum has a yamaha zedder

and if you want to shop in Australia, try your local yamaha dealer or try yamaha pitmans or yamaha retro spares in Adelaide ( i already given you their details i think?)
