Title: Favorite Vintage Handlebar Bend
Post by: Tahitian_Red on January 06, 2009, 02:21:47 pm
I usually use Renthal's Vintage/Desert bend or the Jimmy Button bend, both seem a little low for my 75 KTM 250 project.

What is your favorite Handlebar bend for your Vintage (pre-75) bike?

Andrew,

For my 83 CR480's I use the CR Hi bend which is a lot lower than say a Jimmy Button bend.  The 83 and up Hondas seem to have the steering head placed higher, like most modern bikes, so they feel more natural with the lower bends.

I guess I could have just said you did good.  ;D
