Title: Social Ride Weekend Wonthaggi March 2009

Happy New Year, yes its on again!
The Social Ride weekend is on in March(date to be confirmed) at the Wonthaggi track
as per last year. The Viper committee has been working with members of the Dandenong MCC, so hopefully the event format will be similar to last year, any suggestions greatfully
received.
Hopefully see you all there, if you could give us expressions of interest that will help with
catering etc. would be really appreciated.

It was a top event last year, wouldn't miss it for quids,  8)

Yep i will be there ,shit i still havent finished my YZ250J that i was working on last year Hhmm. I might have to have a look at it next week and see if i can get her ready in time. Cant wait Yeehah.

For the people that didn’t attend this event last year, it goes something like this.
SATURDAY
- No riding.
- You are expected to arrive  ;) on Saturday afternoon to meet and greet.
- Saturday night the Wonthaggi theatre is fired up and videos from yester year are played.
- Camping at the track is encouraged. Excellent facilities are at the Wonthaggi track.
SUNDAY
1. You will need to belong to a MA affiliated club.
2. If you have a MA national licence, sweet. If not then you purchase a one day rec (non competitive) licence.
3. You ride.
Very similar to the Classic Dirt format, bikes are loosely broken into classes with 20 minute or so sessions. Bikes are from year dot to Pre90 with no moderns. Dependent on numbers there is usually a session for juniors.

Last year the days riding finished at 2:30, not because the club people shut it down, rather the riders had done enough riding.

The preposed weekend is the 14th /15th of March, 2009. 
Danadenong MCC is still to approve this date

Thats a bummer Hoony, I have 3 bikes ready to go, never mind a least it made me push and get everything done to them

hopefully another club will be able to host a bunch of guys havin fun sometime in march????
