Just a reminder................
It's on again this weekend. Should be perfect Barossa weather with lots of 'old 500's' getting around. ;D
Riding Saturday. Your choice of road or dirt. Show n Shine Sunday. Plenty of beer and lies to be told. ;D ;D
For those of you with any interest, I'll post a few pics on Monday and most will go to VMX magazine for a feature next issue. I hope.........
If you're not coming already and want to, give me ring or pm for details and help with accomodation etc. 0410 504 815
Cheers
TT
PS Hey Brent, if you want to come next year, let me know, I'll see if I can help.

I took some photos of Sundays show and shine although it certianly wasnt shining! It poored down for a about an hour or something like that. All the bikes got a good wash though!. Will aim to post some photos on the weekend when ive finished 'cropping' them. Im no expert with a camera, but im sure Tony has some good shots for all to see.

the sidecar with the plastic tank was the very first XT500 sold in south australia at yamaha pitmans in late 75/early 76. it was bought specifically to put a sidecar on it. at the time of purcahse the owner also ordered a set of YZ air forks and a 18 inch front rim (was a trend for sidecars to have 18 inch front) this 500 has had a sidecar on it since it was new and it was ridden in the 24 hour trial a few times and many 6 hr trails up until the early 80's when it became outdated by the modern stand up motorcross style outfits.
