Title: rm125 exhaust
Post by: Naked_Amphibian on December 21, 2008, 10:37:02 pm
I have two exhausts for my bike, neither fit. Can I run a down pipe like a road race bike?

one is an 81, the other is an 83

the 81 fits the exhaust flange ange, the 83 fits the frame but not the barrel

so is a road race type pipe ok ie under the front and out the back?

anything is possible but it's then a bodge. And not after that. So the question still remains are down pipes legal for dirt track?

I would expect that you would not have any trouble, lots of people run down pipes for dirt track even if the bike didn't originally come that way from the factory

Mmmmmm,
 I own an MT,
I think it would be an exaggeration to call it really fast .
It has had the fingers of the Twostroke institute massage the motor a little,
Cheers
