are all fox forks 44mm? is there at all any possibility there were 40mm ones?
-
Pretty certain there are only the 44mm fox forks, before the fox's were the simons 37mm. Have you come across some 40mm forks?
-
ahhh yes and surely the seller can not be out by 4mm?.
-
Unless he's trying to measure with a ruler instead of verniers?

some one got a bargain here, but i got the clamps ;D will they be 40 or 44mm we shall see. i might be interested in swaping them for a set of White Brothers or Profab triple clamps for a leading axle XT/TT 500 or IT yamaha. Thor Lawson said 40mm would be news to him but perhaps they made a one off 40mm set for a pro XT/TT 500 sponsored Baja rider?
otherwise sellers verniers were faulty or they were very very slack and tryed using a steel ruler.
-
they were 44mm. slack measuring by seller ::). any way i think these will be up for sale/swap
-
where do you find these ive never found a set of fox or simons on ebay
-
yes ebay, but hard to find, you have to know what your looking for ;D
i know where a comlete fox front end is in USA for $1700 USD - bike bonyard
-
hhmm if it were simons id be stoked

Simons forks come up on Ebay US pretty often, just gotta look regularly.
