Picked this up last weekend, it appears very original still on Barum tyres.
I know there heavy and uncompetitive but i like it cos its different  :)

That's as good as it gets for originality Bill. I think I know where you can get rebuild kits for the airshocks if you want to use'em. That's if I haven't erased the info. :-\

Thats a great find Bill, very original as Firko says.As far as competative goes 90% rider 10% bike (or something like that).Alternatively I think it is the guy who runs czechpoint website says he had a 125 and put in a 400 engine.Looks like it might just be a bolt in operation.Increase your power to weight ratio a bit!

It's a bolt up alright. 125/250/400 are all interchangable.

Ah! I remember it like yesterday... a scrawny kid with his face pressed up to the rear window of the Kombi van watching the CZ125 Falta disappear into a little spec in the distance.
It was a trip to Auckland in about 1977 & we went to the CZ/Jawa place Seacliffe motors for a new round of pistons for our old shitter 175's... there was a row of Falta lined up 400,250 & 125, how I wanted dad to get us that 125.

Don't ever put some big arsed motor in that 125 bike... I know where you live.

Sweet, nice find.

Hey Jim, there are no factory built radial head 125cc, if you see one it's got an aftermarket head.

I'm no expert either but I have owned one of these little sweetie 125s and don't ever recall a radial head on one. Are you sure you're not thinking of the 250 and 400 Jim? Here's a shot of a '77 model 125 and they still hadn't recieved the radial head that the biggy models had.

There was a pic of the rare 75 Falta 125 in VMX a few issues ago. Did it have a radial head?

No33 page 59.
Yep has a radial head but it is listed as being aftermarket.
I think Bill's is more original.

Not necessarily a CZ fan, but that looks brilliant, amazing amount of clear space above head & below tank.

Being a 125 Falta makes it even rarer, boots for the airshocks will be getting ordered soon & any other little touches needed will be done to get it as close to showroom as possible

Sadly I think it will be a fully functioning garage queen due to it's lack of competitiveness & not many pre75 125s in use over here
