I am chasing spokes for the front wheel of my IT175G and have found a set on eBay for a YZ125F (79). As far as I can see, the YZ125D/E/F/G and IT175G all shared the same hub, so I am guessing the spokes all interchange? In fact, looking at the parts diagram, it looks like the YZ250G uses the same hub and spokes as well. Anyone able to confirm?
-
Graeme, i've not dived too much into part numbers but have mixed 'n' matched a few yammie front spokes with no hassle as a lot of the front hubs are the same. me personally, i'd reckon you'd be safe to proceed with the direction your heading.

Yea I agree with Vandy.

if they're the DID ones from old mate in thailand just be aware they don't have the thicker section at one end like the originals. Besides that they're good value and he's a bloody good ebay vendor.
-
Thanks guys. And yes, they're the ones from Thailand. I'll assume the thicker bit is there to provide some extra strength at a critical point, but given we're looking at an IT175 that will be ridden in the bush at a gentlemanly pace I'm gonna think it'll be fine...

NOt sure going on your avatar Graeme, popping wheelies you might need those thicker spokes old boy !

Hah, that was when I was young and foolish. Now I'm old and foolish, but not THAT foolish...

Did you get any.
What about these?

Yep, he seems to have a good range, so I grabbed a set off him. Turned up just before Christmas and they look fine. The IT progresses... Just gotta find a IT175/YZ125 seat foam now, no-one seems to have them. I thought MXM used to do foams but no mention on their website? Xtreme only do 250s up. Maybe someone local can fix mine, it's not too bad except for one small split along the side where they all go off! Got a great cover cheap from a Canadian guy.
