Greetings everyone!
Now I know we've run late in the month occasionally in getting VMX out, but of course we don't really have that option in December. So the good news is that the next issue of VMX is already at the printer and will be out to subscribers in about 10 days. ;D
So without fruther adieu, here's the cover preview....

I must say, I'm impressed with VMX Magazines unbiased make of bikes on the covers of the magazine since its creation.
Variety is the spice of life. :-*
Cheers and thanks for the fantastic work. 8)

Ha, it took 4 hours to take that segment, 1 hr of filming and 3 hours of make up (they wouldn't let me wear my suspender belt & Boots though ;D)
what was my 2nd appearence? i thought it was only "Blokes & bikes"

Seen you as a add on, on MXTV at the De Coster part one interview (unless my eyes deceive me), whats the go over the summer break mate, any riding of the trailie lined up?
-
Well, here's an update....
Issue #36 of VMX was mailed out to subscribers on Friday, which means some of you may see it today... ;D
It should appear in the Newsagents by the end of thsi week also. ::)

That's a pisscutter Xmas pressie for me.

"Gettin' better all the time".... The Beatles could have been singing about VMX magazine in their little ditty. This issue is full of the rare and quirky stuff that I love so much. Smithys VanTech story is especially a bottler. The cover bike OW adds to the exotica quotient as does Malams piece on my beloved Sprite/Alron/aAmerican Eagle/BVM and Darren Browns article on his own Maico/TT500 hot rod.
There's a nice little Carabela article too! Too good chaps!

GOT mine allready, a fine issue it is.. especially the story on old mate Mark the (DT / TS King) from up mona vale way, a genuine nice fellow..

:) We're out in the Boonies down here so I'll probably get mine next Friday. Am hanging out for it, so thanks in advance for what sounds like another great edition and All the Best for Xmas to everybody at VMX. Cheers, T250.
-
Got mine in Perth today ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Whoops just got busted by the boss reading it... :o
-
Got mine in the mail today. Great to see the short piece on Don Newell, bring on the full story. Don was a great encouragement to me in the late 60s & early 70s, we had many a race together. He was, and still is a tremendous supporter of country meetings, one of the nicest people in motorcycling. I love that shot of his 250 Dot, I used to race an identical model, the loudest bikes in the world with that megaphone exhaust.
Keep up with the Super Seniors articles, us 60yr olds hold them in awe!

Mine arrived today too. Perfect timing, I had a sickie today as I had some wood screws & a piece of Meccano removed from my ankle yesterday. So I laid back with feet elevated & read.

Interesting that they use those funny torx heads on the screws. Like a lot of electrical goods these days they don't want you taking things apart yourself ::)
-
YUK............there not even rusty :D
and we don't have our mag yet :'( waiting waiting
-
gmc aftermarket body body repair kits ;) did you make it or are you going to make them in the future ;)
-
... wood screws & a piece of Meccano removed from my ankle yesterday...
It's quality tackle - I have an identical rig from my broken humerus (spelling?) back in '91.
It's lived in my toiletries bag ever since; one day I'll coat it with resin and make a paper-weight! 8) ;)

Got my issue today here in SE Queensland, have to say AJ and Ken its a fine effort, best yet Ray would be proud.
211
-
Yep have to agree with 211 that is the best yet (of the new generation), great cross section of articals and a credit to all involved. you blokes have settled in nicely to your roles ;)
To GMC, old school to the last hey mate, looks like old stock stainless? go to get with the new age titanium like the pin I got this time last year ;D
-
Hey Dave,
Funny I always thought it was the superior design and production that set VMX apart from the crowd. Ken of course disagrees - he reckons its the editorial content and Ajay just loves those ads.
Anyway glad you like it.

Love D&M 8) Mr Drakeford come back to WA we miss you ;D and others from VMX we,(I) would like to met up with one day.
You gotta love the grass roots stuff like the mature men carrying the bike across water for the Trailzone add,way better than some chick in fruit loops(ADB).
oh and our own sidecar teams :-*
see ya, gotta do some more serous reading now. ;D
-
Sorry Firko,
