Title: BSA frame numbers

G'day viewers does a BSA frame have the frame numbers on the bit of the frame between the triple tree. I have a frame and I think its a 1969 250 Starfire  but I can't find the bloody frame numbers  ??? jimson

On some of the pre- OIF models the frame number is located on the front engine mounting bracket. The part welded to the frame.

try on the down tube, just down from the headstem on the left side. they are only stamped very faintly, numbers could be filled in with paint.

i will see if i can find out where it should be on your particular model and let you know

i cant seem to find what book said where the numbers are located but it should be in either of the areas already mentioned

A7 and A10 are models of twin cylinder BSA's
