I have a set of Husky triple clamps that have a Husky logo cast into them as well as what looks like an elephant cast as well - Any ideas?
Are they genuine Husky units or an aftermarket set? They are configured with a set of WP4054 forks.

Banshy,
Sounds like they are from around '89 onwards Husky when cagiva bought out husky, that's what the elephant logo is.https://www.euromotoaz.com/store/images/products/815.jpg
Something like this?

EVO550,
That's the logo but the date doesn't seem not match, at least for the parts that i have.
The forks are believed to be 1984 WP 4054 "aftermarket" units that were originally sold by White Brothers. Essentially they are the same as the units that were fitted to the 84 KTM models but a different anodised color. I checked through the Husky pics and noted that most Huskies of that erra had conventional or Marzochhi units so i am not sure how the WP units found there way into the Husky clamps. Unless of course Husky offered the 4054's as an option. Ideas or thoughts?
Thanks, Rod

Banshy,
I know husky had White Power units fitted to the mx models around that time, but these look like W.P.units on a wrk 89 250

Did that WRK ever come to Australia? Can't say i've ever seen one. I've had a few Husky's over the years but none had WP forks, only Marzocchi and i think my '92 had upside down Showa's.

I think those other ones where Marzochii's
These look more like the white power option

I have seen something like this listed on the JDK website a while ago. So I'd assume they came to OZ.

I have a Husky ( Cagiva Wog Husky ) brochure from about '88 ( as it has the AE430 auto in it ) . It shows the TE510 with Marzocchi forks & the TC510 with White Power 4054s . It has the Swedish flag on the brochure , but the address printed on the back is Bologna , Italy .
