Title: XL250S con rod

I'm in hte throws of rebuilding an XL250S '81 model and may be needing a replacement con rod. Does anyone know where I can get one in the Brisbane area at a resonable price. I believe XR250 rods are the same, but not sure.

go see a local dealer who buys parts from Bikes and Bits importers in WA. they have a large range of rods, pistons etc for most models. i will check tomorrow but i think they could do a rod. if not you just get them to fax you a rod chart, you then fill in the dimensions of your rod and fax it back and then they will match it up to a rod kit in their database.

will get you their ph/email tomorrow and they should be able to point out a dealer closest to you

If those blokes can't help maybe Aconahonda in N.Z I don't know if I spelt  that word right :-\ just google it.jimson
