Here's one for those cold and snowy riding days!

With that 349 motor, no problems with the drag of the caterpillar drive system.
Wonder why they retained the front mudguard?

Diffrent!!!! Pretty neat home made set-up almost looks as if it is spose to be like that.........

oddball montie !

yeah good point.
2 days for the come back is a bit slack rossco, but i suppose you may have been interstate.

Hey Hoony isn't Hoonda the owner of Montesa now????? ;)

;D
gotta love the Hoonda's

Hey Ross, What do you mean all Montys stopped after 1982?
That snow equiped 349 would be an interesting bike/thing. I have one of those bikes and the frame and swingarm are not exactly over engineered. After all it is a trials bike built to be as light as possible. I think flex would be more than a minor issue unless the frame and swingarm have been totally re-engineered. The sump guard forms the lower part of the frame and the swingarm is lighter than most pre LTR 125 MX's.

I used to have a modern Montie, single shock & disc brake.
It was a godd bike when it ran ::)

Wonder if oddball Canadian Mounties ride that oddball Montie snow thingy above?
