'74 TM250L     Chs: 41777 - 49510, Eng: 41824 - 49588

Looks like a '75 model you've got there.

I'd have swooped Tim, the frame alone is worth the $70 regardless of year or model ;)

Vultures.... :D Yes I know where it is, and I will grab it soon. Is complete rolling frame, engine that turns over, seat correct oil tank other bits and pieces . No plastics ,pipe, incorrect tank.  I mean settle down ! it is just useless post 75 late model snot........ ::) Most likely cut it up for a baby sized smallbore sidecar. ;)

Dunno... for now it is  in a shed as I suss out bits and pieces, but whatever it will be brought back to life now ; not sitting on a pile of scrap. yes saved by the price of scrap collapsing again) Oh to the mugs... I am not going make a sidecar out of it :D

Naa being as it is not pre75 something like a GS1000 is much more to my liking.... Still a motor for a lighter weight pre85, maybe GT500 two stroke twin or RM 370/PE400.  have to say stick the RM500 as they along with CR500, YZ490 and KX500s became the death of the super beasts with the FIMs terrible rules changes in 86/87.

Doc ,I got it  ;) bled him down to $10 and a used Honda ct125 agi bike piston and rings........................Bloody 75 model what's the main differences to the 74 ?
and I do have another universal type Wasp sidecar frame hanging on the wall............. 8)

Tim, I've a good use for the used CT125 piston/rings :P I've seen the little TS50 Gaucho beasty and a deal has been struck..almost :P biggest prob now is it just needs to find it's way home :D
main difference with the '75 model, lower shock mounts moved fwd is about it I believe. There might be more but that's the main contention :-\ nothing drastic but the early arm doesn't fit the '75 so break out the grinder and welder if you wanna go pre'75 ;)

yup..no worries Freaky and thanks Tim, Rocketfrog, bless his kind soul, will make the collection at his earliest convienience but the little bike will still need to find it's way up from Newcastle to stormy Brisvegas. Not far at all and so long as it keeps the pacific ocean on it's right then it'll be heading in the right direction ;D
