i was wondering if any of you maico guys know what brand the piggy back shocks are that wulf sport UK are selling for Maicos for 150 pounds? (see advert in classic dirt bike issue eight)
-
Good question.. I thought they may have been Reiger but they don't have any external adjusters and don't really look lika anything i recognize.
-
nah they arent Reiger, im sure they would be pink if they were. they seem cheapish at 150 pounds, but if the built quality is there they could be fairly reasonable. yeah im just interested, im sure we will find out. in the UK magazine ive seen a few bikes with unidentifiable good/trick looking shocks but i cant really tell what they are as they seem to just have plain black/silver colours. could be something some UK mob is specially making up?
-
Just looked on their website, they list them as budget shocks.. don't think i'd touch them. They also have RPM piggyback shocks that look a lot better quality. Arent reiger shocks black these days?
-
RPM is a brand i havent heard of. not sure about the Reiger black shocks
ok so they are 'budget' i still think this is an ok thing for someone on a budget. a bit like DC plastics :)
i will see what i can find out about RPM shocks

Do you have a pic of them ? There is a distributer that buys special shocks from us in England with black reservoirs. (We do them in gold too on special orders)

Thanks for the pic , yes that looks Taywan . $90.00 per pair, per thousand , one lenght , one springrate .
( springs pianowire not chrome silicon)
