Hi all does any one no the history of the CZ250 on Ebay.  ???    H

if what he says is true it is a later 1974 bottom end with the 1972 yellow tanker top and running gear
so it is not gen 1972

do you have the original 4 speed 1972 bottom end for this bike as the 5 speed came ot in 1973 with the radial finn head and coffin type tank engine and frame no should be 980.3 or 980.4 for 1972

he states
motor has been modified to take the 5 speed box which he claims is much better to ride than with the 4 speed

but still
no  980.8 could be 980.3 no
anyway it is still pre 1975 leagle which ever way it is presented.never a pre 70 bike

just got a email from seller

Dear jimg1au,

sori i had the wrong model number down engine is
980.3.000786 frame is 980.3.004715 5 speed works well interesting bike head
is different as well takes a long reach plug i think its a usa import
 so it is a 72 yellow tanker with the 73 5 speed box in it.
