Title: Pre '78 suspension

I asked this question on the old forum,now i am up to the point of doing the front suspension on my '77 cr125. Is 7.5 inches of travel O.K on the front or is it less? I am putting spacers in a set of simons to make the bike legal.

9" front and rear is OK (unless my memory is really falling apart).

Thanks Nathan.I had a brain storm and checked the ma rule book(shoulda done that in the first place ::)) 9'' it is.Cheers.
