Title: Simons Anti cav kits
Post by: Brian Watson on October 27, 2008, 05:14:48 pm
Hey you Red heads..have a couple of Simons Anti cav kits for Red Devils..I would think they probably fit the twin shock model Hondas like the 23 inch front wheel 125 etc.....even have the stickers still in the packs...Let me know what model bike you have and I will look if I can match..

Hi Yammiefan, excuse my ignorance, but what's a AntiCav kit? I have a '81 XL250S and this caught my attention.

Hi mate, do they suit just standard forks or Simons as well?

A couple of answers...the kits were I believe an attempt to solve some front fork problems by seperating the oil into a chamber of its own..hence the anti cavitation tag...keeping the air out of the oil would supposedly improve the action..
These kits are to suit the standard Honda forks...am working on what models they fit...

Brad,
the kits fit standard forks, they were just made by simons (the fork company).
The U.S. factory Yamaha team used them in their factory forks in the mid 1980's
They were the bomb!!
