has anyone been able to contact retropartz? he lists a number of bikes for wrecking on his ebay listings but when i send an email regarding a particular machine i get no reply
-
Your not alone. I have gotten same responce. F@#k all.
-
I sent him a question a couple weeks ago. He replied but it took him about 4 days. Darcy :)

pretty sure it's a rebadged mad max

Based on the ads in JustBikes, I reckon someone bought Max's parts and is trying to make a go of the parts business.
-
Is this promar Max as in bought the pimans old stock from the back room? i can help you fill in why, if its the same max your reffering to if that helps anyone.
-
fill us in any way
-
nah.........not unless you tell me which max and where. If you referfing to the same one in SA, i was going to suggest why he is never around and why you never get the email back unless you call him, then he will lampoon you with a price he plucks out of thin air, twice our old stock list price. I had to beg the prick for a shift cam, then it still cost me $70, i had 4 on the water and said i would give him a newon back next week, no go pay up or screw you was the deal of the hour and i had to show him where the parts were in the back as it was. IF i didnt need it for the rebuild which was all over the workshop floor, i would have told him to stick it, at least i got that pleasure on the last 3 items i enquired about :O) special when i said Fuc that ic an get them out the states for half that delivered to my door :O) ( which is true) any way if its the same max he is never there so he never answer his mail etc, so that why your never getting a email back. he runs another multi level marketing business that takes up all his time.
-
how come these one in each state ;)
-
maybe its the same alias ?

Before we all confuse ourselves too badly:
Max from Vic runs Mad Max's Retroland, and used to run Mad Max's Retropartz.
I had no dramas with him when I got some bits from him, but others have been less happy.
He lost enthusiasm/ran out of time for the parts side of thing and was advertising all the bits as a job lot ($50k, before you ask).
It looks like someone called Mugga bought it all because they're calling themselves just "Retropartz", and you should call Mugga, rather than Max.
The Victorian Max sounds like a totally seperate person to the SA Max.
-
yes now you have confirmed it they are differant max's :OP
-
he sings off "max" on emails ,very frustrating , almost as frustrating as having two cr,s for sale as a job lot , 1 bloke leaves a message about one and another person enquires about the other , so when asked to call niether does !!
