See this all the time now referring to 2 stroke and 4 stroke. Why the "T" ??? ??? ??? ??? guess it means something in onaother language.
-
I can be accussed of recklessly and ignorantly using the 2T and 4T designations on occassions. I dunno the true meaning either, they're just 4 bangers or 2 smoker..simple really..why they have to change things is beyond me ::)

"T" is the alpha-numerical designation for "Time"
2T is that the piston strokes (up or down) 2 times per ignition/fueling cycle
4T is that the piston strokes (up or down) 4 times per ignition/fueling cycle

Isnt it french or german for revolutions like takt or somthing
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Takt_time

As written on Silkolene bottles
English=Stroke
French=Temp
Spanish=Tiempo
German=Takt
Internationally speaking, the T makes perfect sense and we're the odd ones out.

What a load of new age bullshit. It's four stroke and two stroke.
-
I thought it was 4Tonne & 2Tonne cause the 4T is bloody heavy to pick up off the deck and the 2T is only two tonne ,much lighter ;D
-
:o I'll pay that one VMX! :D Better you than me..now to sit back and await responses from the heavy 4T brigade. I think you'll find anything 4t and you need a truck license to ride it ;)

those wacky europeans, they just love to be different. i'm off down the bike shop now with my nikko pen to change all the T's to S's.
