Title: Ignition coil for IT175G Wanted

Hi all,  I am underway getting my IT175 up and running for Vinduros next year and need a few odds and ends. If anyone can help with an ignition coil please PM me.

According to the online parts thingy a few Yamaha models shared this part like the 77 DT/IT175, DT250, 78 DT250, 81 DT175 etc, so I am guessing it's a fairly generic part.

i should have one lying around here off a yz100 im pretty sure there all the same $20 plus post  ;)

Hmmm... sounds good, tho it is a different part number for the YZ100. Anyone know if it'll fit and work? I'm guessing most of the coils for the Yammies will work, but it'll be the mounting points that are the thing.

Nah the YZ100 one is internal rotor, The IT one is external flywheel

but its only the rotor differnt the charge coils should be the same

any jap bike CDI type coil will work just different wiring colours and mounting centres.hell ive even seen a briggs and straten lawn mower motor coil on a rv125 suzuki [both are magnito points ignition]
