Has there ever been a Australian VMX calender printed. ??? ???
Like one for hanging in the kitchen.
Say Honda is Jan
Maico Feb
KTM March
BSA April
etc,etc etc might I add with no naked/brief females hanging all over good quality bikes,gotta think of the kids you know.
Santa sock will need filling again soon, so looking for ideas.

its a good idea, an you could have key vintage events etc in there too. only trouble is the dates change like the wind....you'd be crossing out bits and handwriting all over the thing across a year....
maybe instead you could have 'fixed' things (ie from the past), like roger d's birth date, or the date of the race which finally nabbed bad brad his world championship, or the day on which honda blew us all away with the cr250m etc.

I'm prepared to do my thing for the proposed VMX calendar by volunteering to pose for a studio shoot in my lime green mankini for the Mr January gig. It's the least I can do to help out.

We have a few postcards from the VMX mag from a few years ago.
The Monark/Lito 550 would look great for the December page,any other suggestions for Dec are way off base ;D

What about a calender for each Marque; ie, a Honda Calender. A Suzuki Calender-obviously the biggest seller, all the way down the food chain to mutations such as Coopers, Bultacos etc.

I started looking into this a couple of years ago.
Thanks to a couple of blokes from here, I had a few pretty cool bikes lined up to shoot too.
But time/money and other business pressures meant I couldn't make it happen. :(

i was told either a calendar with all 79 N model suzukis went for US $150 on ebay or it was a 1979 yr calendar with 79 model bikes, im not sure but i saw one month and it had a PE 175 on it. Could be a market for this sort of thing
