My bet is DT100/125/175.
Bring tears to your eyes wouldn't it Nathan?

That's worth fixing! :o
I reckon LT/AT/CT1. Oil tank is on the right on a DT.

Now i remember where i parked my old SL100

DT175 circa 74

I'm telling you it's not a DT. The DTs have the autolube tank on the RHS and the chome toaster rack on the left.
The AT/CTs have the oil tank on the left. The also have the single back-bone frame all the way to the swing-arm.
Ergo, if it's a Yamaha, I reckon it is (was!) an AT/CT.

Thanks for the clairrification Nath, was that just the 175 that was that configuration or were the 250's and 125's the same ?
I seem to remeber them being the odd man out for some reason
-
The 125 was the odd man out for about 6 months.
There are two 74 DT125s - one type is a mildly rehashed AT2 with a light green tank, the other is a 125 version of the blue DT175 that I posted a pic of, with a bronze/metallic burgundy tank. I guess they had a big pile of left-over AT2s to sell off...
The early type seems to be quite a rare bike - I reckon I come across ten times as much brown-tank stuff as green-tank stuff.
