There's been a few on ebay lately, but sometimes the prices are a bit rich.

Not a reliable source, but I always look in second hand book shops. I've found a few in there but not many. Did find an older issue of VMX in one at Goolwa once................ $5.00 it was............  ;D

Opp Shops, Thrift Shops, etc.
You would be surprised what you can find in them. My latest edition to the library is the;

MotorCycle Year 1975-1976
Editor: Peter Howdle
English Editor - Tim Chilvers
Foreward - H W Louis
Publisher - Edita SA

This book has, amongst others, articles on;

DeCosters 500cc title
Everts 250 title
Rahier's 125 title
Gary Scott and Kenny Roberts 76 Dirt Track title fight.
Talks about how the Zundapp was a better option for the ISDE than the offerings from KTM

All this for the pricley sum of $5. In fact it was $2 but the sweet old lady thought it was a bit rich at that. I gave her a 5'er and told her to keep the change. Spent hours in it so far, so a 5'er was more than worth it.

The book exchange in the lane off the mall in Adelaide has a lot of old dirtbike mags. I once scored about 40 ADBs from the late 80s/early 90s from them for a few bucks each. They often have a copy or two of VMX as well.

Otherwise, keep your eyes open at book exchanges in smaller country towns, a veritable treasure trove. Any time you drive through a town and you've got a few minutes spare, go have a look.  Especially towns in areas that were pretty active with dirtbikes in the 70s/80s.
