Title: Ebay funnny-ness.
Post by: mx250 on September 03, 2007, 09:30:24 pm
Whats going on here.

http://offer.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&item=320152879328

Someone else posted this earlier and there was bit of a discussion. It was thought that $900 was above the Market. Check the bid history; first bid $900, withdrawn as a $1200 bid, "wrong amount entered", and now at $2000  ???

All very strange if you ask me.

Is it possible that Bidder 2 came in with a max bid that was equal to the reserve price?

The first bid of $900 disappeared two days ago. Then a reserve appeared. Then it shot up to $2000.00. Very very sus.......... >:( I asked the question about the front brake and what size bore it's on. $1000 was borderline for that bike and only because it is pretty rare. 2 grand seems ludicrous! I bet it turns up again in a few weeks with some piss poor excuse.
