Title: 73-75 360 WR-RT Husky pics/specs
Post by: JC on October 04, 2008, 05:32:15 pm
Gents,

Anyone know much about the 5sp WR360RT (circa 73)?

How bad/heavy/slow were they?

Are they redeemable for VMX/Vinduro?

I have one , while it is built with Husky quality it is a tad on the slow side and is in need of a diet, they are not known as [rt road turkey for nothing]The rear wheel set -up while quite clever weighs a ton! , with the use of parts frrom  motocross and enduro models a performance gain would inprove the bike ,ie carby-intake , exshaust, plastic, fenders, alloy tank ,alloy wheels .etc. Regards bJimbo

Allowing for the under performance and weight issues raised by Jimbo, the RT 360 is still a nice looking Husky

So Ture! Rob,they may be the poor brother compared to the other models but they are very much a Husqvarna.hey as a   vinduro mount they would be my choice for a  early 70 ride- you've got me thinking about pulling the old beast out the shed. Regards Jimbo.

Does anybody have pics from the Husky brochures of the 74-75 250 or 360 RT? (or from anywhere else?)

Anybody know if the 74/75 models were any diff to the 73 models?

Yes, I know they were a bit of a "Road Turkey", gutless & heavy, but underneath is still a Husky

JC, I've got a test of the '73 250RT from Cycle World.
More than happy to scan and email to you if you want it.  ;D
